VISION
A Los Angeles where no survivor chooses between safety and losing what they love.
Not a home. Not a child. Not a pet. Not a paycheck. Not a country.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
Safety is a precondition, not a reward.
Survivors should not have to prove they’ve earned help. The only prerequisite to our services is a phone call.
WHAT WE BUILD TOWARD
Five goals. A horizon, not a deadline.
- → Shelter capacity that meets demand. No “sorry, we’re full” on a night someone is leaving.
- → On-site legal services in courthouses across Los Angeles County. Survivors walking in accompanied, not alone.
- → Prevention education in every middle school. Healthy-relationships curriculum before high school begins.
- → A trained advocate on every block. 1,000 new community members through our 40-hour certificate by 2030.
- → Language justice. Services in every language spoken across the county, starting with full Mandarin, Tagalog, and Korean parity with Spanish.
WHAT GETS US THERE
Boring, durable things.
Recurring monthly donors, not one-time heroes. Long-tenured staff, not high-turnover burnout. Rigorous outcomes measurement, not heartstring metrics.
