The call that starts everything.
Rainbow's 24-hour hotline is staffed by trained domestic violence advocates. Not a machine, not a triage queue. One call connects a survivor to safety planning, shelter screening, legal referrals, and the full scope of Rainbow's programs.
A person answers. You lead from there.
One call. Many pathways.
The hotline is where the response begins.
The hotline is not only for people in immediate crisis.
Survivors, concerned family members, friends, first responders, healthcare providers, and partner agencies are all welcome to call. You do not need to be in immediate danger, and you do not need to know what you're looking for.
Your call is protected by law.
All communications with Rainbow's hotline advocates are confidential under California Evidence Code §1037.1. Rainbow will not share information about your call without your consent, except in specific legally required circumstances.
