The event includes an exciting silent auction, delicious lunch, a fashion show featuring this Spring’s latest trends, and an empowering survivor story.
Our event will raise awareness about domestic violence and funds to support Rainbow’s myriad of survivor-driven programs and prevention education services.

Senator Susan Rubio
Rainbow Services is privileged to celebrate Senator Rubio and her commitment to serving survivors of domestic violence and their children by presenting her with its prestigious Dreamer and Doer Award.
Senator Rubio, known internationally for groundbreaking domestic violence policy initiatives, having passed legislation that allows the use of coercive control as evidence in family court to obtain a domestic violence restraining order. As a survivor herself, she continues to advocate for changes throughout the court system to lower the barriers for victims seeking protection, including successfully passing legislation that allows victims to use remote technology to testify when obtaining restraining orders and requiring interviews be in separate venues. Senator Rubio also created the largest housing trust in the state, with over 22 cities participating; the trust provides funds for affordable housing projects to help mitigate the homelessness crisis.

Rainbow Services is deeply honored to present National Charity League with its Community Impact Award in recognition of their steadfast support. The National Charity League (NCL) is a non-profit organization that focuses on mother-daughter relationships and supporting local philanthropies. They donate close to three million hours annually to over 6,000 charities in the United States.
